Mosaic has established a new business unit to identify new venture opportunities both in Australia and in strategic overseas locations
The key objective of this business unit is to diversify Mosaic’s development and exploration activities beyond the Company’s current Queensland core asset area, and to do so by seeking both high potential exploration drilling opportunities and projects in established producing basins that have the capability to provide early cash flow from new discoveries or established fields.
The evaluation of new venture opportunities will be focused on projects with short term activity and the ability to deliver short to near term cash flow, and not just on projects with the potential to contribute to Mosaic’s longer term growth.
